Santa Marina Big Thursday

Days like last December 11, baptized as Big Thursday, are not repeated twice. It can always be more perfect, bigger, but rarely do the elements come together so that after the anxiety, preparations and nerves of days thinking and watching over and over again the surf forecasts, finally everything comes together to see a huge and radical session in a magical place to enjoy among great friends, just as happened in the past Thursday on La Isla, a special place where 5 friends ventured to squeeze the best of a storm that undoubtedly leaves us moments to remember. Fernando Riego “Nano”, Skeet Derham, Ale Morales, Nagai Puntiverio and Miguel Gutiérrez Welsh left at 09:00 a.m. to catch the biggest waves of December 11, day of rough sea, wind and series of waves 20 feet high (7 meters).
