My Skateboarding Childhood: Albany, NY in 1988

This was the first skateboard contest I ever went to. 25 years later, I never expected I'd be around and behind the scenes at some of the best skateboard contests going. In the video is Ron Kier, Wayne Neiberlein, and a few other friends. I was the one with the mullet ollieing the board stack. Gear was so tight with Vision Street Wear, Suicidal shirts, Converse and Jordan 1 highs, and Ice T on the hip hop tip. Things haven't changed too much at all. What a quarter century ride it's been.
